
Is the headset powered on? Check the headset’s status LED on the left ear dome.The Base Station’s power LED will show a steady green.
Note: If you’re using a stand-alone Wireless Base Station, connect it to your power source using the supplied 12VDC adapter.
Is the ComHub or base station powered on? Check the ComHub’s status LED (to the right of the POWER button). You’re ready to work! How do I recharge the batteries for the system components? Use the PLUS (+) and MINUS (–) buttons on the left ear dome to change your speaker volume. Your crew members should be able to hear you clearly when you speak. You should be able to hear your own voice clearly in your ear dome speakers. Make sure the microphone is no more than 1/8” (about a pinky finger’s width) from your lips. Make sure the “TALK” label on the inside of the microphone boom is facing your mouth. You’re ready to test crew communication once all your headsets report “Base station connected.” If you don’t hear that voice prompt for every headset you’re using today, see our video on Pairing Headsets to a Base Station. Repeat Steps 2 through 4 for each additional headset. The headset’s status LED will change from flashing red to flashing green. Listen for the headset to say “Base station connected.”.
